On August 27, the Speaker of Parliament through a tweet notified the internet which
\nseemingly had no idea of Lira Woman MP\u2019s official wedding to fianc\u00e9 Peter Ojur.<\/p>\n
The Speaker wrote, \u201cHeartfelt Congratulations to you Hon Linda Awuma, and your dear Husband upon this
\nbeautiful step! Marriage is beautiful, and may the Lord grant you a blissful life
\nof union! Your @Parliament_Ug family sends all the blessings!\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple looked beautiful in white. Peter wore a white coat and blended it with a black
\nbowtie while his wife Linda followed the norm and did the day in a white wedding dress.<\/p>\n
Five days ago, Hon Linda introduced her fianc\u00e9 to her friends and family in Alidi, Loro
\nOyam District. The introduction was well attended and she made the statement that only Ojur
\nwould be in charge of her \u201cconstituency\u201d.<\/p>\n
Friends have congratulated the couple;<\/p>\n
