Sheeba and Oscar-Jude\u2019s story is proof that sometimes true love has to find you. Just like Ana\u00efs Nin once said, \u201cYou don\u2019t find love, it finds you. It\u2019s got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, and what\u2019s written in the stars.\u201d The couple, an engineer and doctor, recently got engaged and posed for a few portraits in celebration.<\/p>\n

Sheeba recalls how they met<\/p>\n

Oscar-Jude and I met in 2015 when I was in engineering school while he was in medical school. We were both children\u2019s church teachers at our university chapel and that\u2019s how we got to spend more time together despite doing different programs.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continues,\u201dI got to see how gentle, generous and a great listener he was as he handled the children, which translated even in his day-to-day relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n

They began dating after two years of serving together.<\/p>\n

About their first date, Sheeba recounts, \u201cOur first date was on a night I was leaving for a trip to Nairobi and we decided to go for live band as I waited for my departure time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want it to end and I couldn\u2019t wait to return from the trip so that we could hang out more. I had bought some gifts for him that I couldn\u2019t wait for him to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Five years later, Sheeba and Oscar Jude are engaged and set to wed in December.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can barely wait,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n

The couple had a pre-wedding photo shoot. They shared their shots.<\/p>\n
