Frank Gashumba, known for his fiery social commentary and independent lifestyle, has taken a turn few expected, into the arms of love. For years, the outspoken activist dismissed marriage as an unnecessary burden, once famously saying, \u201cWhat will a woman give me? When you marry, you spend the entire night awake… I do not have that energy.\u201d Marriage, to him, was \u201cnight football,\u201d a game he had no intention of playing.

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, Gashumba shocked many by trading in his bachelor badge for a heartfelt step toward matrimony. In a convoy of luxury vehicles that kicked up dust on the rural roads of Sembabule District, he arrived in style for his Kwanjula, a traditional introduction ceremony, with fianc\u00e9e Patience Mutoni Malaika.<\/p>\n

With friends, family, and Uganda\u2019s social elite in attendance, including politicians, media personalities, fashionistas, and fellow socialites, Gashumba beamed with pride and affection.
