{"id":7125,"date":"2018-11-15T11:21:44","date_gmt":"2018-11-15T11:21:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mywedding.co.ug\/?p=7125"},"modified":"2018-11-28T10:26:32","modified_gmt":"2018-11-28T10:26:32","slug":"flashmob-ugandan-man-proposes-to-girlfriend-at-international-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mywedding.co.ug\/?p=7125","title":{"rendered":"FLASHMOB: Ugandan man proposes to girlfriend at International Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Esther Nantambi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Patrick Segawa, the founder of Public Health Ambassadors Uganda proposed to his girlfriend Patience Kyebitondo this morning, at the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP),\u00a0in Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>When Kyebitondo went to Rwanda for the ICFP, she didn\u2019t know she would be leaving with a ring on her finger. The crowd screamed as she clutched her mouth. They screamed some more, and said yes. They screamed yet again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy heart was pumping so hard; I was confused, people were screaming too hard. I didn\u2019t know what to do,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She narrates that although she had trained for the dance, she was left to keep luggage for the flash mob dancers until later when a dancer pulled her out for a <em>bachata <\/em>dance. And I had to kneel three times. The first time, she just cried. I stood up to comfort her but remember, she hadn\u2019t said yes, so I went down again, this time on two knees, begging.
