After having a look at some of the introduction ceremonies that made the year 2019, My Wedding brings you a new list of the best wedding stories that rocked the year.
Edwin Musiime’s Wedding
On August 10, 2019, Edwin Musiime and Christabel Nansubuga, both hosts of the Property Show, airing on NTV exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
The couple caught the public’s attention right from their introduction ceremony when they decided to play it unique and have a female, fashion designer Anita Beryl act the part of the best man. Beryl also happens to be the groom’s best friend.
Their unique choice raised a lot of tension all over the Internet with all sorts of comments, some positive well as others were not very pleasing. In addition to this, the groom was questioned about his former marriage, many people questioning why a pastor would divorce, something the Bible is against.
Musiime, however, came out and addressed the entire issue and even spoke about his new and old marriage, an interview that gave clarity to many.
Aside from all this, the couple and its best lady had a unique taste of outfits ranging from the pre-wedding shoot at Lake Victoria Serena Resort, Kigo to the wedding itself, all custom made by the best lady herself, Anita Beryl.
Andrew Kyamagero’s Roman wedding
Earlier this year, NTV’s news anchor, Andrew Kyamagero tied the knot with his lovely wife Linda Ndagire.
The couple first had a civil marriage by Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) and later on organized their wedding reception at Lakeside Adventure Park on Bbule Island. The beauty and most catching aspect of this ceremony was the fact that it had a ‘Roman theme’.
Everyone ranging from the guests to the couple itself had to dress up like the Romans making the ceremony worth looking out for.
Celebrities like Lydia Jasmine, Faridah Nakazibwe, Ykee Benda, Patrick Salvador were all in attendance to see this beautiful couple seal off their union in style.

Kasese songstress, Heli Loyce Agaba, famously known as Heli Esli, secretly tied the knot with the love of her life Sunshine Melody, CEO Kanta Group of Companies at St Paul’s Church of Uganda and only invited 11 guests to the wedding.
Their wedding was very private to the extent that they only invited their parents and a few friends for a thanks-giving ceremony at church, but when the guests turned up, they were surprised with an actual wedding ceremony.
“My best man found out about my wedding when he arrived at church. He didn’t even dress up as other best men do,” Melody revealed.
After the church service, the couple decided to host their guests for a small dinner at their home.

Nicole Kavuma is a law graduate and also a Phaneroo addict, it is assumed that this is how the two met.
Apostle Grace made Ugandans fall more in love with the ceremony when he not only sang for his beautiful wife a promise song but also did it underneath a romantic environment filled with roses and chandeliers.
The song dedicated to Nicole was No One by Cece Winan.
Bride praised for smartness as groom is bashed for being unserious
When preparing for most weddings, it is believed that couples tend to look out for the best outfits that fit and match their bodies so as to leave the best memory of their big day. This groom and bride are definitely one of those yet, although the bride was praised for being smart, the groom was mocked for his style.
The Internet went buzzing with all sorts of comments when pictures of a smartly dressed bride and a groom many considered lousily dressed landed on the Internet.
The bride, who showed up gorgeously dressed in a white off-shoulder wedding gown that she accessorized with a fascinator cutting across her eyes, was happily united with a groom dressed in a brownish tuxedo that he coupled with mismatching socks and sandals.
Although the groom’s dress code seemed intentional, it didn’t stop people from giving their thoughts, some backing up the idea as interesting well as others giving their angry thoughts.
