An 85-year-old man has excited many online users after he tied the knot with his fiancée in a colourful wedding ceremony.
An online user identified as Breya M. Johnson and who goes by the name The Black Layers on Twitter, shared photos of her grandfather and his bride at their wedding ceremony.
Johnson revealed that her great grandfather remarried last week on Saturday, February 29, 2020.
“My great grandfather got married on Saturday at 85. My heart is still spilling over in joy,” Johnson captioned the photos.
In the photos displayed the 85-year-old groom looked elegant in a grey three-piece suit paired with a bow tie of the same colour. He designed the left side of the suit collar with a purple flower just like on his wife’s bouquet.
The bride looked timeliness in a lace bridal gown with a pearl necklace and earrings that added a touch of class to her look.
The great-grandchild also disclosed that her 85-year-old grandfather had remarried after he had already lost two wives.
”One died to cancer and my grandmother lost her life to heart failure five years ago,” she wrote.
Johnson said the elderly couple decided to tie the knot after some time of dating.
The photos excited many online followers who found the elderly couple cute.
”OK, handsome young man and his blushing bride! They look so happy and in love, Smiling face with 3 hearts Congratulations to them and your family,” @NieceyBoBC reacted to the post.
Another added, “I wish I had been there to see my grandpa get married at 87. I wasn’t too young to remember it or anything, his wife just kept my whole family in the dark about it for a year,” @benjifckinliker wrote.
