The COVID-19 lockdown has had some couples who are in a hurry to tie the knot to opt for weddings with a lot fewer people than they had wanted.
According to CGTN, Dustin and Maya, a couple from Washington decided that to make their wedding special by having a drone deliver their wedding rings in order to observe social distancing.
Their ceremony took place on April 18, 2020, in the presence of their loved ones.
From aerial footage shared online, the bride and groom are shown having their wedding ceremony at a field which enabled their guests to create adequate space between them as the drone delivered the rings.
It is reported that drone pilot, John Turner took it upon himself to film the ceremony as a gift for the couple.
This goes to show that the COVID 19 lockdown has opened up couples to more unique ways of adding a spin to their ceremonies.
