Sauti Sol’s lead singer Bien-Amie Baraza and his wife, Chiki Onwukwe Kuruka, a choreographer have uniquely found a way of sealing their bond permanently as husband and wife.
The couple went on Instagram and shared a picture of their hands with beautiful tattoos of their wedding rings instead of the original jewelry.
In the photos, the Kenyan singer had two round tattoo circles to symbolise a ring while Chiki had one ring tattoo with a love heart design at the upper side of her finger. The ring tattoos were done on the left ring fingers of the two.
Bien-Amie accompanied the photo with the caption stating that their bond is forever until death separates them apart.
“My wife, my life. My everything. For richer for poor. In sickness and in health. Till deaths do us apart,” he wrote.
The couple’s wedding ceremony took place in the month of March 6, this year at a place called Lavington in Nairobi.
It was a ceremony that was strictly attended by close friends and family members. The singer managed to detract the media from covering his wedding ceremony by first announcing that their ceremony was scheduled for March 7, 2020. According to some of the guests that attended the ceremony, they were asked to leave their phones at the reception to avoid having any pictures leaked to the public.
The wedding ceremony took place almost a year after Bien-Amie proposed to Chiki in February, 2019.
The Kenyan artist hired an entire cinema hall at a place called West Gate mall in Nairobi to proposal to the love of his life.
Fans, friends and family members have rushed to the Kenyan singer’s Instagram page to express their excitement about the idea.
One social media user commented, “An inspiration, Lord, Bless this union.”
“’Wow!! A tattoo ring finger, never had this before, quite unique!!” another added
Another user wrote, “I love the way you guys express your bond,”
“Lovely, we are taking notes!! Couple goals,” another social media user stated in amazement.
Indeed, everyday married couples are finding new ways of celebrating their love.
