Aisha Nantongo Kimuli, the CEO Premier Functions 207 met Al-Hajj Kibirige Kasule (Al-Hajj KK) at one of the functions she was decorating. He was one of the organisers. Although he propositioned marriage that very day, she wasn’t too keen on committing to him that quickly. The couple dated for three years.
“He even went to the Kabba in Mecca to ask Allah for my hand in marriage. I accepted when he returned.”
Two months after accepting his proposal, the couple had a kukyala ceremony. The bride revealed to Satisfashion Ug that their kukyala was not quite planned, “My parents were supposed to approve my choice so they invited him over for a luncheon. Events turned and it became a formal kukyala.”
Now left with a Kwanjula to plan, the decorator did not want to leave a stone unturned.
” Lawd! It was hectic even when I knew what I wanted. Because I am a perfectionist, my own expectations were so high. I was that bride that never had an ounce of sleep thinking about what could go wrong. I wanted to make sure I don’t regret anything because I hate surprises.”
To make sure she achieved the function of her dreams, Aisha joined efforts with key decoration companies. She wanted to create a tropical paradise inspired by the beauty and the freshness of nature.
“We had a trio-décor collabo with ICandy, myself (premierfunctions207) and Its Showtime.”
The bride says that she was blown away by the results of their work, although her colleagues had worried it would not come out quite the way she wanted.
“The teamwork was good,” Aisha concluded.
The function also doubled as the couple’s Nikka.
“I will give you my ring, I will give you my Deen, I will make it Halal & I will take you to Janah”, Alhaji KK is quoted saying on one of the posts by Premier Functions on Facebook.
The couple hosted 200 guests. We take a look at the decor.
Congratulations to the couple.
