Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament, Hon Francis Zaake was introduced by his fiancee over the weekend.
Zzake emotionally shared the good news and love for Bridget Namirembe on his social media platforms.
“I’ve gotten introduced by the love of my life @bnnamirembe to her parents in Kifampa, Gomba District. I can’t thank you enough my relatives, friends and comerades in the struggle led by our President @HEBobiwine & First Lady @BarbieItungoK for companying me. Thanks for blessing our day!” he tweeted.
Hon Zaake was introduced by his longtime girlfriend Bridget Ndagire Namirembe who was dressed in a gold-ish gomesi. Thr groom matched his white kanzu with a dark blue coat.
In attendance were friends and family who included famous personalities like the National Unity Platform president, Robert Kyagulanyi and wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi, MP Joel Ssenyonyi, among others.
Barbie Kyagulanyi congratulated the couple in a Facebook post that read.
“It was such joy to join Nnamirembe Bridget and MP Zaake Francis Butebi in Gomba today for their cultural marriage ceremony. Congratulations bantu baffe.”
Among other friends in attendance were NUP MPs, Lewis Rubongoya, Eddie Yawe, and Nubian Li.
Zaake and Bridget have been together for over eight years, and they have two children together. In April this year, Zaake proposed to Bridget in a glamorous setting that had the internet talking and sending love to the couple.
The two met during his Guild presidential campaigns while Zaake was still at university. The couple is said to tie the knot in September this year.
