In a light brown gomesi, speckled with blue stones, the Lira Woman Member of Parliament, Linda Auma was jubilant as she introduced her fiancé, Peter Ojur to friends and family. The function was held in Alidi, Loro, Oyam District. It was here that the joyful lawmaker told all in attendance that until further notice, it was only Ojur that would be in charge of her ‘constituency’.
The function was a magnet to several bigwigs such as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa who was also the chief guest of the day. In his message, he congratulated Hon Auma upon the tremendous milestone. “I congratulate Hon Auma Linda Agnes, upon introducing her husband Mr Peter Ojur to her family in Alidi Village, Oyam District.”
