Weddings are known to be happy moments and music is one of the things that helps a couple express its happiness and excitement about their big day. From lovely and heart touching lyrics to catchy beats that make couples and guests rock the dance flow, here is a list of some of the songs that have rocked weddings this year;

Empeta by Sheebah karungi and King Saha

Couples love this song because it fits the day perfectly well. The song is about a couple declaring the commitment they have in putting a ring on each other’s fingers, because of the unconditional love they have for each other. Empeta is originally an old song done by Ragga Dee but the life and vibe that Sheebah and King Saha put into it makes you want to have a wedding as soon as possible.

Malamu by Pallaso

Mallamu is one of the hit love songs of 2020. It is a song that simply declares how you feel about your partner and how you are willing to spend on her because she deserves it.

Love panic by Vinka

The detail is in the song title itself. Vinka sings about the panic and nervousness she gets whenever she looks at the love of her life. Couples love this song because it totally describes that fresh young shy kind of love.

Repeat it by Azawi

If you are familiar with how new love feels like, then the concept of this song will make more sense to you. The song simply requests one to repeat those sweet little things they used to do when they had just began dating despite the fact that they have been in love for long now.

This song simply shows that even though the couple is married now, they shouldn’t stop acting like they have just met.

Omalawo by Lydia Jazmine

This is a song for the brides mostly. It’s a song that helps the bride express her feelings towards the groom. The magic is in the lyrics and if a groom takes time and puts his mind to each word, he will definitely feel more in love.

I swear by Geosteady

I swear is a simple but catchy love song. It is a kind of song that brings life and happiness to an event. Geosteady in this particular song swears on how in love he is with this girl. What sweeter message could a groom pass over to his bride?

Lo fit by Azawi

Azawi has realized quite a number of love songs that people relate to which is what most people base on to fall in love with a song. Lo fit is a song about how a woman’s heart has completely fallen in love with a guy and how he has won her over. Aside from the lyrics, the rhythm of the song is catchy and makes you want to get up and dance.

With every year that goes by, more songs come in. everyone does have something they love and can vibe to therefore the list is endless. We however are looking forward to more jams as the year comes to an end.
