Christine Opendi, a sister to honourable Sarah Opendi, the State Minister of Health for General Duties who once said she doesn’t like short men introduced her lover Charles ‘kaloli’ Olweny in a lovely ceremony in Tororo over the weekend.

Christine’s fiance is not short so it is safe to imagine the minister is glad about that.

The bride rocked a cream gomesi coupled with a black and silver sash that was matching well with her jewelry and hair accessories. The groom, on the other hand, wore a black and cream suit that he coupled with a baby pink shirt plus a black bow tie.

The two couldn’t hide their happiness as they danced and shared light moments during the ceremony.

Olweny is a Ugandan political scientist who has in the past worked as a trader based in Heathpool, Kensington & Kensington Gardens in South Australia.

My wedding wishes the couple a happy and everlasting marriage.
