After their introduction on Friday and wedding on Saturday, all seemed right for Dominic Ssemwogerere and his newlywed wife Josephine Namuju. Sadly on Sunday, the groom was was involved in a road accident that consequently led to his death.
According to the New Vision, Ssemwogerere, a clinical officer at Villa Maria Hospital in Masaka was taking wedding gifts to their new residence where the couple would reside. He chose to ride a motorcycle as his wife and her friend travelled with the car carrying their wedding gifts.
It is reported that the groom’s motorcycle hit a pothole in the road and rammed into a vehicle. He died two days after his wedding at Mulago Hospital where he had been referred.
