Last week, social media was awash with photos of People Power diehard and music star, Ali Buken a.ka. Nubian Li as he made it official with his girlfriend, Gloria (Now, Salha) Mutoni of 14 years in a traditional ceremony.

Nubian Li, also Vice President of the FireBase crew was not one to waste time. A week shy of his introduction, he and Mutoni were officially wedded at Kibuli Mosque in a joyous ceremony.

The couple later had their reception which was decorated in soft lilac colours. Nubian Li sang his way into the reception hall with his best man, Bobi Wine.  They sand their famous hit “For Better for Worse”

Many musicians and opposition politicians including Mityana’s Zaake graced the ceremony.

Bobi Wine’s wife, Barbara Itungo was Mutoni’s matron.

In his best man speech, Bobi Wine thanked Mutoni for being a strict woman, which he says has glued the couple together. He also thanked her for being strong standing by her husband when he was in prison earlier this year.

Ending his speech, Bobi Wine told his friend Nubian, “I know you are a Muslim, but your wife has all the four women you need in her.”

Congratulations Nubian and Mutoni.
