If you have taken a look at the social media pages of Buganda’s Katikkiro, Ow’ekitiibwa Charles Peter Mayiga, the joy he has is undeniable. His pages both on Twitter and Facebook are decorated with beautiful photos and videos of dancing and merry-making at the wedding of his daughter, Samantha Nanziri.
Nanziri and was joined in holy matrimony with her fiancée Emmanuel Ofwono over the weekend at All Saints Cathedral Church Nakasero.
The ceremony was presided over by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Reverand Dr Stephen Kazimba Mugalu and was attended by several dignitaries from Buganda Kingdom.
The couple later had a lavish reception at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
The bride donned a beautiful A-line gown that she accessorized with an elbow-length veil and a princess tiara.
The groom too wore an elegant black tuxedo complementing his bride’s entire look.
The couple earlier on held their Kwanjula ceremony on October 2, 2021 that was attended by close friends and family.
Emmanuel is a son to Hon. Apollo Yeri Ofwono, the Member of Parliament, Tororo City.
