Away from the rumbling and scooping people’s secrets for the public, Tina Fierce, the former Urban
TV ‘Scoop on Scoop’ is off the single women’s league. A couple of months ago, Tina and her long-
time boyfriend, Tano Teka tied the knot.

It all happened when she moved to the USA and then settled in with the love of her life. After the
wedding, Tina chose to change her last name from Murungi to Tano.

For the feisty woman she portrayed herself to be, many wondered if this was not under duress. However, she quickly came out to say that it was her own choice. She talked about it on her Twitter.

“Fam, taking my husband’s name was it for me! He was ok with me not taking it but he was also eager to have me take it I love @tano_teka in ways that let me submit! Damnnn! Issa 1 st nd I will honor and treasure it.”

Around December 2020, photos of her in a white wedding gown as she lovingly looked into a man’s
eyes circulated on social media and sparked a rumour of her getting married in a secret ceremony.

That said, close friends dismissed them as simply a photo shoot. Nonetheless, it is till revealed that
the wedding ceremony took place long before they shared the good news with the world.

When they were finally ready, Tina took to her Twitter to share the news. “Changing my last name legally
has slapped different! From MISS to MRS #Godddid! #MrsTano.”

It is said the Tano, who is of Kenyan descent is a health care and communications expert as well as a
politician.

We wish the couple all the best.
